Who operates Mithlond

Mithlond is operated by Spatium Stories as a private content-production application. It is not offered as a public account service. References to “we,” “our,” or “Mithlond” in this policy refer to Spatium Stories and this application.

Google data we access

When the owner connects a Google account, Mithlond requests permission to:

• View and download video and script files from Google Drive folders selected in the application.
• Read a configured Google Sheets content calendar.
• Update the configured status cell in that content calendar when the owner explicitly requests it.

Mithlond does not request access to Gmail, contacts, calendars, photos, or unrelated Google account information.

How Google data is used

Google data is used only to perform owner-directed content operations: discovering selected videos, downloading them for local processing, matching them with planning information, and updating the selected content-calendar status. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or training generalized AI models.

Storage and security

Google OAuth client credentials and refresh tokens are stored in macOS Keychain on the owner’s device. Job records and generated artifacts are stored locally in Mithlond’s application data directory. Final media may be uploaded to the owner-controlled Amazon S3 bucket and sent to the owner’s Buffer account only after an explicit publishing action.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data. Data is disclosed only to infrastructure chosen and controlled by the owner when necessary to complete an explicit request, such as Google APIs, Amazon S3, and Buffer. We may disclose information when legally required or to address security, fraud, or abuse.

Retention and deletion

Local jobs and artifacts remain until the owner deletes them. Uploaded media remains subject to the retention settings of the owner’s S3 account, and scheduled posts remain subject to the owner’s Buffer settings. The owner can revoke Google access at any time from Google Account permissions and remove Mithlond credentials from macOS Keychain. Revocation stops future Google access.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Mithlond’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Children

Mithlond is a private production tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Privacy questions may be directed to the developer contact address shown on Mithlond’s Google authorization screen.
